ヒス‐そく【ヒス束】

読み方：ひすそく

心房と心室を結ぶ特殊な心筋線維の束。心臓の刺激伝達系の一部で、房室結節から始まり、心房と心室の境界に位置する線維組織（中心線維体）を貫いて心室中隔の頂上部に達する。名称は発見者であるスイス生まれでドイツの医師・解剖学者ウィルヘルム＝ヒス（1863〜1934）の名に由来。房室束。

The bundle, represented in red, originates near the orifice of the coronary sinus, undergoes slight enlargement to form the AV node. The AV node tapers down into the bundle of His, which passes into the ventricular septum and divides into two bundle branches, the left and right bundles. Sometimes the 'left and right bundles of His' are called Purkyně or Purkinje fibers. The ultimate distribution cannot be completely shown in this diagram.

ヒス束（ひすそく、英: bundle of His(BH)His bundle (HB)は、刺激伝導に特化した心筋細胞の集まりである。

心臓内の刺激伝導系の一部で、房室接合部に続く。ここから左側の膜性中隔部で右脚と左脚とに分かれる。

役割

房室結節（心房と心室の間）からの刺激を脚を介して束状枝の頂点まで伝達する。次に、プルキンエ繊維を介し、心室に刺激を伝える。この刺激によって心室の心筋を一定の間隔で収縮させる。
