サー・チャールズ・ヴィリアーズ・スタンフォード(Sir Charles Villiers Stanford, 1852年9月30日 - 1924年3月29日)は、アイルランド人の作曲家、教師、指揮者である。ダブリンの裕福で音楽的教養の高い一家に生まれたスタンフォードは、ライプツィヒとベルリンで音楽教育を受ける以前はケンブリッジ大学で学んでいた。そのため、彼は国際的に著名な演奏家を招きケンブリッジ大学音楽部との共演を実現させることで、同楽団の地位を引き上げる立役者となった。
