第一政党制 (アメリカ合衆国)

第一政党制（だいいちせいとうせい、英: First Party System）は、政治学者や歴史学者が使う政治モデルであり、アメリカ合衆国に存在した政党制の中でおおまかに1792年から1824年までを画するものである。大統領、連邦議会および州の政治の支配を巡り、アレクサンダー・ハミルトンがその創設に大きく寄与した連邦党、およびトーマス・ジェファーソンとジェームズ・マディソンが結成した共和党（民主共和党）の2つの全国的政党が競い合った。連邦党は1800年まで優勢だったが、その後は共和党が全国を支配した。
