ぶんり‐へき【分離壁】
読み方：ぶんりへき
２ イスラエルがヨルダン川西岸地区との境界に建設している壁。総延長710キロメートル。フェンス・鉄条網・コンクリート壁などで築かれ、2017年時点では約460キロメートルが完成している。
[補説] 2について、イスラエルは建設の理由を治安確保のためとし、「防護フェンス」と呼んでいるが、その大半は停戦ラインよりもパレスチナ側に設けられ、パレスチナ人の土地を奪い、生活圏を分断し、行動の自由を制限している実態がある。2004年に国際司法裁判所がパレスチナの自治を阻害しているとして壁の撤去を勧告したが、その後も建設は続けられた。建設反対派からは「隔離壁」「アパルトヘイト・ウォール」とも呼ばれている。

分離壁（ぶんりへき）は、国境線の管理や、特定の人々・文化の隔離を目的に建設された、人間の通行を妨げるバリケード、壁、塀などを指す[1]。
