2014年の世界ツーリングカー選手権は、FIAが主催し、スーパー2000規定で争われる世界ツーリングカー選手権の11年目のシーズン[1] 。2005年に再開されてからは10年目のシーズンに当たる。
- ^ ルクオイルがスポンサーの終了を決定し、チームはレース・オブ・北京からラーダ・スポーツへと名称を変更した[21]。
- ^ セバスチャン・ローブはチームメイトのホセ・マリア・ロペス、イヴァン・ミュラーを抑えて初のポールポジションを獲得した[50]。ローブとロペスは自動燃料カットオフシステムが正しく機能しなかったため、予選順位と予選ポイントを失い、2戦共グリッド後方からスタート、ミュラーがポールシッターとなった[51]。
- ^ ジャンニ・モルビデリはキャリア初のポールポジション、今シーズン初のシトロエン以外によるファステストタイムを記録した[52]。しかしながら結局、Q1に黄旗が振られていたにもかかわらずタイムアタックしての記録であったため5番降格のペナルティを受けたが、ポールポジションによる5ポイントは獲得した[53]。
