世界馬術選手権

FEI世界馬術選手権大会（せかいばじゅつせんしゅけんたいかい、FEI World Equestrian Games）は国際馬術連盟が4年に1回開催される馬術の総合競技大会である。
概要
FEI世界馬術選手権大会はそれまでの馬場馬術、パラ馬術、障害馬術、総合馬術、エンデュランス馬術、総合馬車、軽乗の世界選手権大会を統合し、1990年に第1回大会が開催された。基本的には夏季オリンピックの中間年(4年に1度)に開催される。
大会は約2週間の日程で行われ、ケンタッキー世界選手権の場合、57カ国・800名が参加した。
2010年度の競技種目は馬場馬術(Dressage)、障害飛越(show jumping)、総合馬術(Eventing)、エンデュランス馬術(endurance riding)、レイニング(Reining)、馬車競技(en:Combined driving)、障がい者馬術(en:Para-equestrian)、軽乗競技(en:Equestrian vaulting)の計8種目により行われた[1]。

- ^1 The reunified Federal Republic of Germany (1990 onwards) is regarded by the FEI as being the same country as pre-reunification West Germany (1948-1990), as part of an unbroken line going back to Germany's affiliation to the FEI in 1927 during its Weimar Republic (1919-1933).[2] If Germany and West Germany were considered to be two separate countries, their medal tallies would be: Germany 26 gold, 14 silver, and 20 bronze; West Germany 4 gold, 4 silver, and 4 bronze.
