フラマン人（蘭: 
Vlamingen、オランダ語発音: [ˈvlaːmɪŋə(n)]）は、北フランスやベルギーに起源をもつ、オランダ語を話すゲルマン民族である[5]。主にフランデレン地域（フランドル）の北部にみられる。

Belgian Federal Government Service (ministry) of Economy — Directorate-general Statistics Belgium (1998/2007). 2002年8月2日時点のオリジナル[リンク切れ]よりアーカイブ。2007年5月23日閲覧。 補遺: ベルギー人の59%がフラマン人、すなわちフラマン語話者であると考えられている。ワロン地域内でフラマン語を母語とする人口とフランデレン地域でフランス語（多くはワロン語）を母語とする人口は少数であり、そしてそれぞれの言語共同体に於いてその占める割合は1%である事から数値に影響を及ぼす誤差にはならない。フラマン語話者はフランデレンの607.9万人に加えて101.9万人を有するブリュッセルの人口の15%を加えて623万人であり、ベルギーの2006年時点の総人口である1051.1万人の59.3%を占めている。ドイツ語話者はドイツ語共同体の7.04万人（共同体全体の人口のうち5%以上はフランス語話者）に加えワロン地域に2万人から2.5万人がいると推定されており、総人口に占める割合は0.9%。フランス語話者はワロン地域の残りの人口（341.4万-9.3万=332.1万）とブリュッセルの85%の人口（86.6万人）との合計、つまり418.7万人で総人口に占める割合は39.8%。合計で100%となる。
