サリー・ヘミングス

サリー・ヘミングス（英:Sally Hemings、1773年頃 - 1835年）は女性で、トマス・ジェファーソンが所有していた、所謂クアドルーン（黒人の血を1/4、白人の血を3/4引いている）に分類される奴隷であった。ヘミングスは、ジェファーソンの妻でマーサ・ジェファーソン（30代で亡くなった）と血の繋がりのある異母姉妹であったと言われている[1]。
