インダス川（ヒンディー語、サンスクリット語: सिन्धु、ウルドゥー語: دریائے سندھ、シンド語: سندھو、パンジャブ語: سندھ、ペルシア語: حندو、パシュトー語:ّآباسن、チベット語: Sengge Chu、中国語: 印度河、ギリシア語: Ινδός）は、インド亜大陸を流れる主要河川。チベット自治区のマーナサローワル湖の近くのチベット高原から始まり、ジャンムー・カシミール州のラダックを通る。その後、パキスタンに入ってギルギット・バルティスタンを通り、パンジャーブ州を南に抜け、シンド州に入り、パキスタンの港都市カラチの近くのアラビア海に注いでいる。インダス川の長さは3,180キロメートルで、パキスタン最大の河川である。インダス川本流の93%はパキスタン領内であり、5%がインド、2%が中国領を流れる。インダス川の流域面積は1,165,000平方キロメートル以上である。一年間に流れる水の量は約207立方キロメートルと推定され、世界で21番目である。氷河が広がる標高から始まり、温帯樹林の生態系、平野、乾燥地帯を作っている。チェナーブ川、ラーヴィー川、サトレジ川、ジェルム川、ビアース川及び北西辺境州とアフガニスタンから流れる2つの支流と共にシンドゥ七大河のデルタを形成する。
