アムロサウルス

アムロサウルス（学名：Amurosaurus）は、6600万年前にあたる白亜紀最後の時代マーストリヒチアン[1]の東アジアに生息した、ランベオサウルス亜科に属するハドロサウルス科の恐竜の属。鶏冠は発見されていないものの、大半のランベオサウルス亜科と同様に、アヒルの嘴のような形状の吻部と内部が空洞の鶏冠を持つ二足歩行の植物食性動物だったとみられている。成体の化石は希少であるが、最低で全長6メートルに達した可能性が高い。古生物学者グレゴリー・ポールによると、全長約8メートル、体重約3トンに達した[2]。
