アクシス
英語 axis
車体にある点を位置づけるために、3次元の参照となる縦、横、高さを表す基本となる軸をX、Y、Z軸と呼び、この軸線をいう。一般にX軸は車両センターライン、Y軸は前車軸センターライン、Z軸は車体フロア基準線とする。ただし、GMではY軸をファイヤーウォール(エンジンルームとキャビンとの境界壁)基準としている。
