リポジストロフィー

脂肪異栄養症（しぼういえいようしょう, Lipodystrophy, リポディストロフィー）とは、健康な脂肪組織を作り出したり維持したりすることが不可能になる疾患の一種である。遺伝的なものと後天的なものの双方がある[1][2]。「Lipo」はギリシア語で「脂肪」、「Dystrophy」は同じくギリシア語で「異常な、あるいは変性した状態」を意味し、その名の通り、脂肪組織で異常や変性が発生する。
