ギグワーク

ギグワークは、いわゆる単発・短時間の仕事のこと、とりわけ主にインターネット上のプラットフォームを通じて請け負う単発の仕事のこと。典型例としてウーバーイーツの配達員としての働き方が挙げられる。仕事を受注するかしないかを選べたり、個々の仕事で拘束される時間も短かったりと、かなり自由度が高い。ただし労働者としての権利や保障の仕組みを十分に享受できないなどの問題も指摘されている。
ギグワークに従事する人を「ギグワーカー」といい、ギグワークとギグワーカーの存在によって成り立っている経済のあり方を「ギグエコノミー」という。ちなみにギグワークの「ギグ」は、俗に「ミュージシャンが単発でライブの演奏に参加すること」を指す英語「gig」に由来する語。

ギグワーカー（英: Gig worker）は、プラットフォーマーを介する形で仕事を受ける就業者[1]。ギグワーカーは、オンデマンドの企業と正式な労働契約を結び、企業の顧客にサービスを提供する[2]。
