『オペラの怪人』（The Phantom of the Opera）は、ガストン・ルルーの小説『オペラ座の怪人』を基にした1925年のアメリカ合衆国のサイレント・ホラー映画である。ルパート・ジュリアンが監督し、ロン・チェイニーが愛する女性をスターにするために殺人や暴力を犯すパリ国立オペラに出没するタイトル・ロールの醜い怪人役を演じた[3]。映画公開まで門外不出であったチェイニーが自ら考案したメイクで、チェイニーにとってもっとも有名なホラー映画である。
