フランク・ハーン（Frank Horace Hahn、1925年4月26日 - 2013年1月29日）は、ドイツのベルリンで生まれ、イギリスで活躍した経済学者である。専門は一般均衡理論、貨幣理論である。

ロンドン・スクール・オブ・エコノミクス（LSE）でPh.D.を取った後、バーミンガム大学で数理経済学を教え始めた。その後、ケンブリッジ大学講師、LSE教授、再びケンブリッジ大学教授と教えて、1992年にはケンブリッジ大学の名誉教授となった。1990年から1996年の間には、イタリアのシエナ大学教授として博士号の指導者となった。

• 1925年 有名なドイツ人哲学者兼数学者の息子としてベルリンで生まれる。
• 1931年 家族はプラハに移る。
• 1938年 家族は英国に移る。
• 1945年 LSEでBSを取る。
• 1950年 LSEでPh.D.を得る（博士論文「国民所得に占める賃金の分け前」：1969年に出版）

業績

• フランク・ハーンは、一般均衡理論のスペシャリストである。
• 一般均衡論の理論家の大半は、他の経済学者を読者に想定して執筆し、一般均衡論が何故重要であるかの説明にはあまり時間をかけない。しかし、ハーンは、ケンブリッジ大学での教授就任講演をまとめた『経済学における均衡の概念』（1973年）や、K・J・アローと共同執筆した上級書『一般均衡分析』（1971年）の読み易い第1章でもわかるように、一般均衡論の意義を繰り返し学生相手に説明しようと苦労してきた。彼の中心となる論点の一つは、経済学者たちの二百年来の主張を正確なものとするのは一般均衡論だけである、というものであった。
• 『貨幣とインフレーション』（1982年）の中で、彼はマネタリズムに対し正面攻撃をかけ、それが一般均衡論と両立することはないと主張している。
