デール・W・ジョルゲンソン（Dale Weldeau Jorgenson、1933年5月7日 - 2022年6月8日）はアメリカの経済学者、ハーバード大学教授。
計量経済学における貢献に加え、資本コストと投資、生産性の分析、経済成長理論の実証分析、国民経済計算の分野で貢献がある。黒田昌裕、西水美恵子をはじめ複数の日本の経済学者と共著論文がある[1][2]。
経歴
- 1933年 モンタナ州ボーズマン（ボーセマン）生まれ。
- 1955年 リード大学からBAを取得。
- 1957年 ハーバード大学からMAを取得。
- 1959年 ハーバード大学より経済学博士号を取得。
- 1959年 カリフォルニア大学バークレー校准教授となる。
- 1967年 バークレー校の経済学教授となる。
- 1969年 ハーバード大学教授となる。
- 1971年 ジョン・ベイツ・クラーク賞受賞。
- 2006年 トムソン・ロイター引用栄誉賞受賞。
Econometric Society会長、アメリカ経済学会会長を歴任。米国科学アカデミーの科学、技術、経済政策(STEP)部門の創設メンバーで、1998年以降委員長を務めた。近年では、ITイノベーションと生産性の関係や炭素税と地球温暖化の関係などの実証分析を活発に行っている。
