銀河帝国 (スター・ウォーズ)

銀河帝国（ぎんがていこく、Galactic Empire）は、アメリカ映画『スター・ウォーズ』シリーズに登場する国家。首都はインペリアル・センター（旧共和国時代にコルサントと呼ばれていた惑星）。映画を始めとする関連メディアでは共通して「国家テロリズム、非人間種族への差別、戦力投射、恒常的な恐怖による支配」を行う独裁国家として描かれている[1]。
