グルタミン酸シンターゼ (NADPH)（glutamate synthase (NADPH)）は、次の化学反応を触媒する酸化還元酵素である。

2 L-グルタミン酸 + NADP+
L-グルタミン + 2-オキソグルタル酸 + NADPH + H+
反応式の通り、この酵素の基質はL-グルタミン酸とNADP+、生成物はL-グルタミンと2-オキソグルタル酸とNADPHとH+である。補因子として、FAD、鉄、FMN、硫黄、鉄硫黄タンパク質を用いる。
グルタミン酸シンターゼ (NADPH)は、バクテリアと植物には存在するが動物には存在せず、また、グルタミンを合成する重要な酵素である[1][2]。
組織名はL-glutamate:NADP+ oxidoreductase (transaminating)で、別名にglutamate (reduced nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate) synthase, L-glutamate synthase, L-glutamate synthetase, glutamate synthetase (NADP), NADPH-dependent glutamate synthase, glutamine-ketoglutaric aminotransferase, NADPH-glutamate synthase, NADPH-linked glutamate synthase, glutamine amide-2-oxoglutarate aminotransferase (oxidoreductase, NADP), L-glutamine:2-oxoglutarate aminotransferase, NADPH oxidizing, glutamate synthase (NADPH)がある。
