アンソニー・ヴァン・ダイク（英: Anthony van Dyck[1]、1599年3月22日 - 1641年12月9日）は、バロック期のフランドル出身の画家。上品でくつろいだ雰囲気で描かれたチャールズ1世をはじめ、イングランドの上流階級を描いた肖像画でよく知られている画家だが、肖像画以外にも歴史画、宗教画、神話画などにも優れた才能を見せており、水彩画やエッチングの分野においても大きな革新をもたらした重要な芸術家とみなされている。
- ^ 「Anthony van Dyck」は英語圏での綴りである。出身地のオランダ語圏では姓の「ヴァン・ダイク」は「van Dijck」と綴り、名の「アンソニー」は「Anthonis」「Antoon」「Anthonie」「Antonio」「Anthonio」など様々なオランダ語の名に相当する。フランス語では「Antoine」、イタリア語では「Anthonio」「Antonio」となる。「van」は英語では近年になるまで先頭が大文字の「Van」が使用されることが多く、「Dyck」もヴァン･ダイクの存命時は「Dyke」が使用されることが多かった。
