テキサス【TXAS】
読み方：てきさす
《telegram exchanging automated system》電報自動処理装置のこと。受付から配達・電文作成までの一連の作業をオンライン化し、即時に自動処理するシステム。昭和61年（1986）サービス開始。漢字も処理できるようになったTXAS2を経て現在はDREAMS(ドリームス)が稼働。

テキサス州（テキサスしゅう、英: State of Texas）は、アメリカ合衆国の州。略称はTX。合衆国本土南部にあり、メキシコと国境を接している。
