XPathNavigator.MoveToParent メソッド

派生クラスでオーバーライドされると、XPathNavigator を現在のノードの親ノードに移動します。

戻り値
XPathNavigator が現在のノードの親ノードに正常に移動された場合は true を返します。それ以外の場合は false を返します。false の場合、XPathNavigator の位置は変更されません。

解説

MoveToParent メソッドの戻り値は、現在のノードの XPathNodeType および移動先となる親ノードの XPathNodeType によって異なります。

さまざまな XPathNodeType ノードとこれらの移動先として指定できる親ノードの表を次に示します。

XPathNodeType	親ノード
Root	Root ノードは親を持ちません。
Element	Element ノードまたは Root ノード。
Attribute	Element ノード。
Text	Element ノード。
Namespace	Element ノード。
ProcessingInstruction	Element ノードまたは Root ノード。
Comment	Element ノードまたは Root ノード。
Whitespace	Element ノードまたは Root ノード。
SignificantWhitespace	Element ノードまたは Root ノード。
