上田真

上田 真（うえだ まこと、Makoto Ueda、1931年5月20日 - 2020年8月19日）は、アメリカ合衆国の日本文学研究者で、スタンフォード大学の日本文学名誉教授。
兵庫県生まれ。1954年神戸大学文学部卒業[1]。1962年ワシントン大学[要曖昧さ回避]大学院博士課程修了。トロント大学教授、のちスタンフォード大学教授。日本の詩歌が専門で、特に俳句や短歌、川柳について多くの著書がある。比較文学でPh.D.を取得（1962年）。
