プランテン（プランテイン、プランティン、プランテーン等。仏語、英語: Plantain[1][2][3][4][5]）は、バショウ属の草本植物の一種の通称である。バナナと異なり、一般には料理に用いられる果物である。多くの市場ではバナナと明確に区別されて扱われているが、交雑種には一般的でない多くの種類があり区分は不明瞭である。バナナとプランテンの差異は植物学上の正式な分類ではなく、果実をどのように消費するかによりいずれの語が用いられるかが決まり、用法としては、文化や分野によって変わるものである。また、品種群の一つとしてプランテン (AAB) が存在しているため、狭義においてはこちらを指す。日本語ではリョウリバショウ、クッキングバナナ等と表記されることもある。
