パキリノサウルス族(学名: Pachyrhinosaurini)とは白亜紀に存在したセントロサウルス亜科の族^[3] 。白亜紀前期に発生し、カンパニアンで隆盛を極めマーストリヒチアンで絶滅した^[2]^[4]。

分類

パキリノサウルス族は2012年にフィオリッロとティコスキ（Fiorillo & Tykoski）によって提唱された。それは全てのセントロサウルス亜科の中でもセントロサウルス・アペルトゥスよりパキリノサウルス・カナデンシスに近縁なものをまとめたクレードである。アラスカで発見されたパキリノサウルス・ペロトルム(Pachyrhinosaurus petorum)の新種記載に併せて設立された^[2]。さらにその中で鼻角が瘤状に進化しているアケロウサウルスとパキリノサウルスがパキロストラ類(pachyrostra)を構成する。
