ハレー彗星（ハレーすいせい、1P/Halley、ハリー彗星とも）は、約76年周期で地球に接近する短周期彗星である[2]。公転周期は75.3年[1]。多くの周期彗星の中で最初に知られた彗星であり、古来より多くの文献に記録されている。前回は1986年に回帰し、次回は2061年夏[3]に出現すると考えられている。
