分裂促進因子

分裂促進因子(ぶんれつそくしんいんし、英: mitogen)は、細胞分裂(有糸分裂(mitosis))の開始を誘導する低分子量タンパク質などの物質である。有糸分裂促進因子、有糸分裂誘発因子、マイトジェンなどの名称で呼ばれることもある。分裂促進因子による有糸分裂の誘導はMitogenesisと呼ばれる。分裂促進因子は、分裂促進因子活性化プロテインキナーゼ(MAPK)が関与するシグナル伝達を開始し、有糸分裂を誘導する。
