Rockapellaはアメリカのア・カペラ・グループ。アメリカを拠点に活動している。アメリカでのライブが多いが、海外でのライブも多数行っており、日本にもほぼ毎年来日している。
略歴
1986年、ブラウン大学ア・カペラサークルのHigh JinksのメンバーであったSteve Keyes、Sean Altman、Elliott Kerman、David StixでRockapellaを結成
1987年、David Stixが美術の道へ進むために脱退。ブラウン大学アカペラサークルHigh Jinksの仲間であるCharlie Evettが加入。
1988年、Do It A Cappellaへの出演が決定。注目を浴びるようになる。Charlie Evettがソフトウェアデザイナーに専念するため脱退。
1989年、オーディションによりBarry Carl加入。
1991年、Steve Keyesが法律の道へ進むため脱退。Scott Leonardが加入。
1992年、Kenny Xが一時的に参加するも、宗教上の理由から正式メンバーにならず。
1993年、Jeff Thacherがサポートメンバーとして加入。
1994年、Jeff Thacherが正式メンバーとなる。
1996年、Sean Altmanがソロ活動に専念するため脱退。
1997年、オーディションによりKevin Wrightが加入。
2002年、Barry Carlが脱退。
2003年、オーディションによりGeorge Baldi III加入。Elliott Kermanがジャズに専念するため脱退。
2004年、Scott、Kevin、Georgeと面識のあったJohn K. Brownが加入。
2009年、Kevinが脱退、Steve Dorianが加入。
