フォードの円

数学において、フォードの円（英: Ford circle）とは、中心が 、半径が の円である。ただし、p/q は既約分数であり、すなわち p, q は互いに素な整数。それぞれのフォードの円は水平軸 y = 0) に接しており、それらのうち任意の2つの円は互いに共有しないか外接しているかのどちらかである[1]。
