オルレアン・コレクション

オルレアン・コレクション（英: Orleans Collection）は、フランスの王族で1715年から1723年までルイ15世の摂政を務めたオルレアン公フィリップ2世が収集した500点以上の非常に重要な絵画コレクション。1700年からフィリップ2世が死去する1723年までに収集されたものが大部分を占める[1]。王族所有のコレクションが国家所有と同義だった多くのヨーロッパのコレクションとは異なり、ほぼ間違いなく純粋なプライベート・コレクションである。特にイタリア絵画の私有コレクションとしてはおそらくもっとも有名で[2]、多くの絵画が早くからパリで公開されており、後にロンドン、エディンバラなどでも一般に公開された。
