ミャンマーでは、生年月日をグレゴリオ暦かビルマ暦を選んで登録できる。
公文書での取り扱い
法律、通知、文書など、政府による公式発表のビルマ語版には、ビルマ暦と西暦（グレゴリオ暦）の両方の日付がつけられている。ビルマ暦の日付を最初に、それに相当するグレゴリオ暦の日付が括弧内に続き、いずれも年、月、日の順で書かれる。例として、2017年3月29日の日付の表記を下に示す。
