民主的平和論

民主的平和論（みんしゅてきへいわろん、英語: Democratic peace theory）とは、民主国家は、他の民主国家とみなす相手に対しては戦争を避ける傾向がある、という国際関係論上の主張。イマヌエル・カントなどにより論じられた[1]。
- ^ Michael Doyle's pioneering work "Kant, Liberal Legacies, and Foreign Affairs", Philosophy and Public Affairs (1983) 205, 207–208, initially applied this international relations paradigm to what he called "Liberal states" which are identified as entities "with some form of representative democracy, a market economy based on private property rights, and constitutional protections of civil and political rights." This theory has been alternately referred to as the "Liberal peace theory" For example, Clemens Jr., Walter C.
