退行的左翼

退行的左翼 (英: Regressive left、退行的リベラルとも) は、政治的に左翼層に属しながら、反リベラルなイデオロギーや価値基準を持つエスニシティ集団を、寛容の精神によって擁護することでリベラル的な立場から退行した人物を分類するときに用いられる政治的形容語句である。特に多文化主義と文化相対主義の観念により、イスラム教への寛容を主張する人物に使用される。

For them, winning against capitalism was far more important than it was to their allies. I watched as our ideology gained acceptance and we were granted airtime as Muslim political commentators. I watched as we were ignorantly pandered to by well-meaning liberals and ideologically driven leftists. How we Islamists laughed at their naïveté".[1]
