ニック・エヴァンス（Nick Evans、1947年1月 - ）は、ウェールズ出身のジャズとプログレッシブ・ロックのトロンボーン奏者である。サウスウェールズ州モンマスシャー・ニューポート生まれ。

略歴

初期

ニック・エヴァンスは11歳でトロンボーンを演奏し始め、1966年までにニュー・ウェールズ・ジャズ・オーケストラに加わった。その期間、グラハム・コリアー・セクステットに初参加した。1968年にバリー・スクールでキース・ティペットと協力し、ティペットのセクステットの結成メンバーになった。彼は後に南アフリカのバンド、ブラザーフッド・オブ・ブレスや、ソフト・マシーンとも仕事した。彼はカンタベリー・ロック・シーンの周辺人物だった。

1970年、プログレッシブ・ロック・バンドのキング・クリムゾンのアルバム『リザード』に参加した^[1]。
