ビロクシの海岸は直接ミシシッピ・サウンドに接し、メキシコ湾との間にはバリアー島が連なって防波堤のようになっている。海岸沿いにはカジノが建ち並んでいる。
市内にはキースラー空軍基地があり、アメリカ合衆国空軍予備役の第81訓練飛行隊と第403飛行隊が駐屯している。
