コペンハーゲン解釈（コペンハーゲンかいしゃく、英: Copenhagen interpretation）は、量子力学の解釈の一つである。それが何を指すかについて論者によってかなり幅があり、一致した見解はない[1]。共通している点としては、「量子力学は本質的に非決定論的であり、測定によって特定の観測結果が得られる確率がボルンの規則に従うこと」がある。

「シュレーディンガーの猫」の記事における「コペンハーゲン解釈」の解説
コペンハーゲン解釈はかなり幅が広い考えの総称である。観測が行われたとき猫の生死の確率は50%ずつであるが、観測がいつ行われるのか、量子系と観測者の境界はどこなのかについて様々な見解がある。ニールス・ボーアは、観測者によって波動関数の収縮が引き起こされるという考えを用いず、完全に客観的であるとみなされる測定器と物体の相互作用について論じた。ボーアはシュレーディンガーの議論に対して特に反応していないが、ボーアにとって箱を開ける前に猫の生死は決定しているであろう。一方でジョン・フォン・ノイマンは、1932年の著書 『量子力学の数学的基礎』において、波動関数の収縮は、測定器から観測者の意識までの間の、どこで起きていると考えてもいいと論じた。
