ニュージャージー州議会代議院（英語:The New Jersey General Assembly）は、アメリカ合衆国ニュージャージー州の州議会である、ニュージャージー州議会の下院である。議会のメンバーは非常勤と考えられており、多くの議員は立法活動に加えて別の仕事を持っている。現職議員の1人、ゲイリー・シェアは、2007年に複数の公職の兼任を禁止したニュージャージー州法の下で特例が認められ、別の公職（パサイク市議会議長）も兼任している[1]。
任期及び議員要件
1967年の選挙（1968年会期）以来、下院議員は80名で構成されている。任期は2年で、州の40の選挙区から2名ずつ選出される。各選挙区は、平均人口232,225人（2020年の数字）の選挙区を代表し、各選挙区の偏差はその平均の上下3.21%以内である[2]。下院議員に立候補するには、21歳以上であること、選挙の1年以上前から選挙区に住んでいること、ニュージャージー州に2年間住んでいることが必要である。また、選挙区の住民でなければならない。
役職
下院議長（Speaker of the Assembly）は、議会の議員によって選出される。州副知事、州上院議長に次いで、州知事が職務を遂行できなくなった場合に知事を代行する3番目の地位にある。議長は、議会で審議される法案のスケジュールを決定し、委員会の委員長を任命し、議会の議事を全般的に取り仕切る。現在の議長はクレイグ・コーフリンである。

報酬及び特権
報酬
州議会議員は、年間基本給4万9000ドルを受け取っている。上院議長と下院議長は、それよりも若干高い報酬を得ている[4][5]。議員は、スタッフの給与として11万ドルを受け取っている。さらに、1万2500枚の切手、文房具、テレフォンカードも受け取っている。議員はニュージャージー州健康保険やその他の給付金も受け取っている。州議会の各議員にかかる費用は、年間約20万ドルである[6]。
「ダブルディッピング」
2008年まで有効であった州法では、州議会の上院議員および下院議員は、いずれかの院で、または両方の院で、また、その時点で保持しているその他の政府職に就くことが認められていたが、2008年当時まだその職に就いていた議員は「既得権」が認められた。
