α-ラクトアルブミンは、タンパク質である。牛乳の乳清タンパク質の重要な成分であり(～1 g/l)、また他の多くの哺乳類の乳にも含まれる。ヒトでは、LALBA遺伝子がコードする[5][6][7]。
