ミナンカバウ人

ミナンカバウ人（インドネシア語: Suku Minangkabau、あるいは、ミナン人やパダン人の名前でも知られている）とは、インドネシア・西スマトラ州の高地に住んでいる民族集団である。ミナンカバウ人は母系社会として有名であり、財産や土地は、母から娘に相続される。いっぽう、宗教的儀式や政治においては一部で女性が重要な役割を果たすとはいえ、男性が中心となって行われる。
