アール・W・エマースン（Earl Emerson、1948年 - ）は、アメリカ合衆国の推理作家。ワシントン州タコマ出身。
代表作はマック・フォンタナ シリーズとトーマス・ブラック シリーズの2シリーズだが、その他にもスリラー小説なども発表している[1][2]。1986年に『不幸な相続人』（原題：Poverty Bay ）でシェイマス賞 ペーパーバック賞を受賞、エドガー賞にノミネートされた[3]。シアトルの消防署の副署長でもある[1]。現在は同州ノース・ベンドに暮らしている[1]。
