イブン・フィルナース

イブン・フィルナース（Ibn Firnās; 西暦810年 - 887年）は、イスラーム文化圏の9世紀イベリア半島の百科学的知識人[3][4]。ハカム1世とその息子アブドゥッラフマーン2世期の後ウマイヤ朝の宮廷詩人であったが[3][5]、詩作や音楽といった分野よりも医術や工芸に秀でた[6][7]。現代ではむしろ、後ウマイヤ朝で活躍した代表的な「科学者」[8]、とりわけ「史上初の飛行実験を行った人物」として認知されている[6][7]。
