現存するミトラィユーズ

ドイツ連邦軍軍事史博物館が収蔵するReffyeミトラィユーズ。ドイツのドレスデン市に所在。

オリジナルのミトラィユーズは、パリのオテル・デ・ザンヴァリッド内に所在するMusée de l'Arméeにて2門を見ることができる。雨から保護されてはいたが、これらは屋外に置かれ、一世紀以上のあいだ外気に露出したことからひどく損傷した。Musée de l'Armée所蔵のミトラィユーズは、近ごろ2門のうち1門が、現代製の四角い防楯をつけるようになったが、これは本物ではなく、普仏戦争に投入されたReffyeミトラィユーズには決して存在しなかったものである。他によりよく保存されているミトラィユーズはベルギーのブリュッセルに所在するRoyal Museum of the Armed Forces and of Military Historyで、またスイスのMorgesにあるMusee Militaire Vaudoisでも見ることができる。さらにドイツのフライブルク近郊ハイターシャイムにあるドライエックラント博物館では、良好な保存がなされたReffyミトラィユーズが収蔵品として展示されている。またもう一門として、非常に良好な保存状態のミトラィユーズが、ドイツのドレスデンに所在するドイツ陸軍歴史博物館にて展示されている。
