Gamma-globulin
【概要】 免疫グロブリンとほぼ同じ意味。血清を濾紙につけて電気泳動すると、5種類に分けられる。この5番目のことをγ分画といい、免疫グロブリンのかなりの部分がここにくる。「免疫グロブリン」を参照。

一般には免疫賦活作用を期待して用いられる製剤であるが、川崎病 とギランバレー症候群では、しばしば投与され、免疫の正常化に寄与する。詳細な薬理作用はまだ研究途上にある。免疫グロブリン療法も参照のこと。
