抑うつリアリズム理論

抑うつリアリズム理論（Depressive realism）とは、ローレン・アローイとリン・イボンヌ・エイブラムソンにより開発された、抑うつの人はそうでない人よりも現実的な推論を行うという仮説である。これまでは、抑うつとなった人は否定的認知バイアスを持っていると考えれており、その結果、ネガティブ自動思考、不適応行動、世界は機能不全だという信念、これらを繰り返すとされていた[1][2][3]。しかし抑うつリアリズム理論では、これらのネガティブさこそが世界のより正確な評価を反映したものであり、さらに抑うつでない個人の評価はポジティブな方向に偏っているのだと主張する[4]。
