Prusa i3

Prusa i3（プルサ アイスリー）は チェコ共和国 の会社 Prusa Research によって開発されている、オープンソース の 熱溶解積層法 を用いた 3Dプリンター である。RepRap プロジェクトの一部であり、世界で最も使われている3Dプリンターである。[1] オリジナル Prusa i3 は Josef Průša によって 2012年 に設計された。

「Prusa i3」の記事における「Prusa i3」の解説
2012年5月、Prusa i3 のパーツ (OpenSCAD（英語版）) やデザインがリリースされた。このリリースは、以前のバージョンや他のRepRapプリンターからの大きなデザイン変更となった。寸切りボルトによって構成されていた三角形のフレームは、ウォータージェットカッター によって作られる アルミニウム フレームへと変更された。また、"Prusa Nozzle" と呼ばれるフードセーフなホットエンドが採用され、M8ネジがM5ネジへと変更された。このデザインは、自己複製可能な部品を増やすことよりも、より制作が簡単になるように設計されている。2015年、Průša は Original Prusa i3 と呼ばれるバージョンをリリースした。これは彼の立ち上げた会社である Prusa Research から販売されている。
