テキサス州の旗

テキサス州の旗（テキサスしゅうのはた）は、アメリカ合衆国テキサス州の州旗。1933年8月31日に制定された。一つ星が人目を引くことから、ローンスターの名で知られる。これにより州のニックネームは「ローンスター・ステート」となった。一般家庭から社屋までテキサス全域で揚げられ、州民から人気があり尊重されている。ハワイ州の旗と同様、以前国旗であった[3]。2001年、北米旗章学協会は会員投票による、72の合衆国の州および準州、カナダの州のデザインのランキングを発表し、ニューメキシコ州の旗に続く第2位となった[4]。1836年に独立を宣言し1845年まで存在したテキサス共和国の国旗を受け継ぎ、制定された。
