覚醒下開頭術

覚醒下開頭術（かくせいかかいとうじゅつ）は、脳損傷を避けるために患者が起きている間に外科医が脳腫瘍を除去できるようにする脳神経外科手術および開頭術の一種である。手術中、脳神経外科医は皮質マッピングを実行して、腫瘍の切除中に邪魔になる一方で温存すべき、雄弁な皮質と呼ばれる重要な領域を特定する。
