タッド・ドーガン

トーマス・アロイシャス・ドーガン（Thomas Aloysius Dorgan、1877年4月29日 - 1929年5月2日）はアメリカの漫画家（カートゥニスト）。タッド・ドーガン（Tad Dorgan）という名前でも知られ、自らの絵にはTadとサインをしていた。漫画パネルIndoor Sports や多くの単語や表現を生み出したことで有名[1]。

Other expressions that are now part of the American vernacular include 'cake-eater,' 'drug-store cowboy,' 'storm and strife,' 'Dumb Dora,' 'dumb-bell,' 'finale hopper,' 'Benny' for hat and 'dogs' for shoes."
