シャイル・ロバート・シール（Shayle Robert Searle, 1928年4月26日 - 2013年2月18日）は，ニュージーランドの数学者で，コーネル大学の生物統計学の名誉教授である。彼は，統計学における線形モデルおよび混合モデルの分野において指導的立場にあった。また，線形モデル，混合モデル，分散成分の推定に関する多くの著書がある。

シールは，統計的方法の記述に行列を用いた最初の統計学者のひとりであり，家畜育種において応用統計学を利用した最初期の研究者でもあった。

彼はニューヨーク州イサカの自宅で亡くなった。
