バーチャル・ボランティア

バーチャル・ボランティア (virtual volunteer; またはバーチャル・ボランティアリング; virtual volunteering) とは、インターネットと家庭、学校、テレセンター(公共のインターネットアクセス施設)、職場のコンピュータ、またはスマートフォン (インターネット機能を備えた携帯電話) やPDA (パーソナル・デジタル・アシスタント) などのインターネットに接続された機器を使用して、全体または一部を部分的に完了するボランティア活動を意味する[1]。バーチャル・ボランティアは、オンライン・ボランティア、リモート・ボランティア、e-ボランティアとも呼ばれている。
