バリー・コスキー（Barrie Kosky、1967年2月18日 - ）[N 1]は、オーストラリア及びドイツ[1]の舞台・オペラ演出家[N 2]。作品の大胆な再解釈を行いながら多彩な色、動き、手法を用いた鮮やかで審美的な舞台の人気は高く[2]、ヨーロッパを中心に活動する、現在世界で最も多忙な演出家の一人である[3]。

- ^ コスキーはピアノにも堪能であり、モンテヴェルディの『ポッペーア』のプロダクションではその腕前を披露している。
- ^ コスキーは「オペラ狂」であったユダヤ系ハンガリー人の祖母から多大な影響を受け、18歳になるまでに200のオペラを観た。また、文化的な言語だからという理由でドイツ語を習得するよう促され、流暢なドイツ語を話す。
